How it Works?

If you find a product or service at a cheaper price, here is what you need to do.

Provide us with a written like for like quotation from a VAT registered repairer located within a 3 mile radius of your local Centre. 

The parts quoted must be like for like i.e. manufacturer, make, model, quality & completed within the same time scale as agreed with your local Centre. 

Any claim must be made to the manager & accompanied by a written quote prior to any work being completed. 

Any special offer or discount must be communicated clearly in writing. 

Comparison of goods or services must be to the identical specification & quality. 

Our comparison of goods or services will compare to the total price for the job to be completed after all discounts, including parts & labour & not individual line items.

Once we verify your claim, we will match the lower price. We reserve the right to modify or cancel this offer, & the terms & conditions at any time in its sole discretion.

This does not apply to individual line items on an invoice, tyres or tyre fitting, garages that are not VAT registered, discounts not available to the mass market i.e. employee discounts, negotiated discounts, the trade, fleet customers do not apply.

What Is Required To Make A Price Promise Claim?

You must provide a written like-for-like quotation from a VAT-registered repairer located within a 3-mile radius of your local Service My Vehicle Centre.

The quotation must be for parts and services of the same manufacturer, make, model, quality, and completion time as agreed with us.

What Is The Time Frame To Make A Price Promise Claim?

All claim must be made to the manager prior to the work being completed and must be accompanied by a written quote.

Are There Any Exclusions To The Price Promise?

Yes, the Price Promise does not apply to individual line items on an invoice, tyres or tyre fitting, non-VAT registered garages, discounts not available to the mass market (e.g., employee discounts, negotiated discounts), or trade and fleet customers.

Offer excludes tyres, batteries and MOT’s.

How Will You Compare The Quoted Prices?

We will compare the total price for the job to be completed after all discounts, including parts and labour, and not individual line items.

The comparison must be for goods or services of identical specification and quality.

Can The Price Promise Terms And Conditions Change?

Yes, Service My Vehicle reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer and the terms and conditions at any time in its sole discretion.

However, any changes will not affect claims already in progress.

What Do We Mean By 'Same Sale Conditions'?

The competitor needs to be selling the products on the same terms as we do to enable you to claim your low price guarantee, so for example:

The competitor must have the items in stock; The products must be identical, same brand, model, size, weight, colour, condition, specifications etc; The competitor's product must be brand new and in its original packaging; The time for delivery must be equivalent to our delivery times; Guarantees and/ or warranties provided free or at charge; We compare prices on the basis that they are VAT exclusive; The payment terms need to be the same.
